Bertus Koch will stay longer

Bertus Koch photo courtesy of The Namibian newspaper 14 February 2022 Koch had been serving an eight-year prison sentence for trafficking five-minor girls, attempting to rape them and exposing himself to them in an indecent way at DRC in Swakopmund. The State had appealed both his conviction and sentence. However, the Supreme Court found that he was correctly convicted. But it did have an issue with his sentence. A memorial service is held for Alphonsina Mubu, her three sons Martin, Ernest and Tommy Nchindo and cousin Sinvula Munyeme Four fishermen entered the Chobe River in two wooden canoes on the evening of the 5th November 2020. At around 22H00, rapid gunfire was heard and then three single shots at 01:00 on the 6th of November 2020.
