Rapoo: The man behind the famous voice

Many people have heard his voice, listened to its story lines and thought what the person behind the voice would be like.

Rapoo Murumbua takes time off from his work to record voice files that give people a lighter perspective on life. In recent years, he has added his voice to all major developments from drought outbreaks, jealousy, and intimacy to COVID-19.

From his previous home in the Netherlands and the new one in the United Kingdom, this uniquely gifted orator whose sketches portray light-humour, tradition and the simplest take on the most complex of issues, Rapoo has entered many people’s hearts and provided those out of ideas more practical and alternative perspectives to those they use to approach life and its challenges.

His voice appears cut for what he uses it: giving a different albeit humorous perspective to life and helping others find the brighter side to difficult and challenging moments. It is not disputable that the man has the voice and the delivery for the niche he has carved for himself, which appears to come to him naturally.

But who is the man behind the voice?

Rapoo Murumbua was born at Otjiheketjangukutu in Kaokoland (now Kunene Region) on the 17^th of November 1988.
